Training

This section will display some of the places and items I use to train for my challenge to climb Everest without supplemental oxygen.

Some of the places Rhys will be going to train and get prepared are Peak Fitness in Woking for strength training, Ash Ranges for pack training and building cardio vascular fitness, Scotland for winter mountaineering training, the Alps for further mountaineering training and also altitude training then trips to the Himalayas to do some higher altitude peaks with the plan to climb a 7,000m mountain prior to attempting Everest.

We will also post video footage so that you can see the type of training that is involved to take on such a demanding challenge. The page will continually alter with new additions and also images, so please come here on a regular basis.
