Woking Hospice
Woking & Sam Beare Hospices are registered charities providing specialist care, advice and support for people with life limiting illness in Surrey .Our Hospices in Woking and Weybridge provide in-patient care as well as a comprehensive support service for the family.
Other services we offer to our patients, that can also help family members, include counseling, chaplaincy and a range of complimentary therapies. We have a respite care service that enables carers to have a break and a MacMillan Nursing Outreach Team to support patients in their homes.
Our teams of over 600 volunteers ensure the smooth running of the Hospice. Woking Hospice is a registered charity. Our annual running costs are currently £4.6m with only small percentage of this provided by the Primary Care Trust. As all the services are provided free of charge, fundraising events and local support are vital to continue to provide the following services and facilities at each Hospice.
